In 1998 he graduated Indiana University, Bachelor of Finance.
In 2001 he graduated the Kazakh State Academy of Management with a degree in International Economics.

From 1998 to 2000, he was Deputy Chief Accountant and Director of the Internal Audit Department at the "Ak-niet" Pence Action Management Company.
From 2000 to 2005 - Deputy Chief Accountant, Risk Manager, Head of Department, Portfolio Manager, Chief Portfolio Manager of CJSC "ABN AMRO Asset Management" Pension Asset Management Company.
From 2005 to 2006 - Deputy Director, Director of Corporate Finance Department of "Intergas Central Asia" JSC.
