Joint intermodal terminal at the port of Alyat
Expanding its presence in international markets, as the basis of the projected transportation system, Kedentransservice JSC pays special attention to the development of infrastructure on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
On August 22-23, 2024 in Baku in the course of the field meeting of the Kedentransservice JSC, Xi’an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co, Ltd and CJSC “BISTP” considered issues of joint implementation of the project on creation of intermodal terminal in the port of Alyat, establishment of a joint venture and organization of multimodal transportation.
The new terminal project with an area of 5 hectares, adjacent to the Alyat terminal, involves the construction of a universal cargo yard with a covered warehouse complex of class “B” with an area of 3,500 square meters.
