10-thousandth container is overloaded at the rear terminal of Astana city

In order to minimize the train load at Dostyk and Altynkol MGSP, work is carried out on reorientation and reloading of part of the cargo traffic in transit along the China-Russia and China-Belarus routes at the Astana rear terminal. Thus, 165 container trains were reloaded at the Astana terminal in this direction from June to October 3, 2024. Until the end of the year it is envisaged to send about 105 trains.
For 9 months, the actual volume of container processing amounted to 41 thousand TEU, exceeding the planned figures by 8.5 times.
