KTZ management got acquainted with the construction of strategic infrastructure facilities
During a working trip to Almaty, the management of NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC visited key facilities aimed at developing the transport and logistics infrastructure of Kazakhstan and deepening bilateral cooperation with China.
Special attention was paid to familiarization with the progress of construction of the logistics complex at the GTS-2 terminal, which is being built as part of a joint venture of Kedentransservice JSC (a subsidiary of NC KTZ JSC) and Xi’an Free Trade Port Construction and Operation Co., Ltd (PRC). This complex will become an important part of the international transport and logistics chain.
In addition, the project to create a transport and logistics hub at the Kazybek Bek station in the Almaty region was inspected. The new complex will become a key link in the integration of the logistics systems of Kazakhstan and China, promoting the development of trade and economic ties and expanding the transit potential of both countries.
The strategic importance of the Almaty region as one of the key sections of international transport corridors was noted, and the importance of further development of the region’s infrastructure to enhance transit capabilities and strengthen Kazakhstan’s position in the global logistics market was emphasized.
