KTZ and FinInvest signed a memorandum of intent
NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and the transport and logistics group of companies FinInvest LLC signed a Memorandum of Intent on cooperation in the development of container transportation and related terminal infrastructure. The document was signed in Astana as part of the state visit of Russian President V. Putin to Kazakhstan.
The parties are considering the possibility of building a modern multimodal transport and logistics center in Astana, which will increase the transit of russian goods through Kazakhstan.
The development of terminal infrastructure will contribute to the creation of a stable international logistics corridor and give an additional impetus to the expansion of the country’s transit potential.

FinInvest LLC is the largest private investor in the creation of modern multimodal TLC in the Russian Federation, which plans to build 11 multimodal TLC in the Russian Federation with a capacity of about 5.65 million TEU.
