“Kedentransservice” JSC at the I Youth forum of transport workers

The first Youth Forum of Transport workers, organized by the Union of Transport Workers of Kazakhstan «KAZLOGISTICS» and JSC » NC «KTZ», began its work in the building of the Kazakh-British University in Almaty.

The participants of the forum were welcomed by the adviser to the President of JSC » NC «KTZ», the first cosmonaut of Kazakhstan Tokhtar Aubakirov, the chairman of the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asset Asavbayev, the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Transport Workers «KAZLOGISTICS», the adviser to the President of JSC «NC» KTZ » Yuri Lavrinenko.

The Head of State in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan: «Strategy «Kazakhstan-2050″: a new political course of the established state» set the task in the field of transport to develop the transport and logistics system, including the transit potential of the country. Creating conditions for the sustainable development of the transport and logistics system is inextricably linked with providing this area with qualified personnel, Asset Asavbayev stressed.

He noted that about 200 educational institutions are engaged in training personnel for the transport industry in the country as a whole — 27 universities and 174 educational institutions of technical and vocational education (TVE), of which 5 specialized universities and 20 specialized educational institutions of TVE.

— These educational institutions annually produce more than 28 thousand specialists for our industry. At the same time, the industry needs a little more than 6 thousand people a year, that is, 21% of the total number of graduates — — said the Chairman of the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

— We are facing new challenges — the implementation of an industrial and innovative breakthrough. And it will not happen without you, » T. Aubakirov addressed the forum participants. — Our forum is intended to become a single platform for discussing the problem of training personnel in the transport and logistics industry.

The forum is attended by representatives of the Kazakh Academy of Transport and Communications named after M. Tynyshpayev, the International Academy of Business, the Kazakh-British Technical University, the Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov, the Kazakh University of Technology and Business, the Semey Transport College, the Civil Aviation Academy, the Kazaeronavigation Training Center, the Aviation Training Center, the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Nazarbayev University, the K. I. Kazakh National Technical University. Satpayev, Almaty Technological University, Almaty College of Railway Transport, Almaty Institute of Energy and Communications, Turan University, Kazakhstan Multidisciplinary Institute «Parasat», Kazakh Automobile and Road University named after B. Goncharov, Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology, Central Asian University, etc. The session is also attended by the heads of JSC «NC Aktau International Commercial Sea Port», JSC «NMSC » Kazmortransflot», LLP «GlobalinkLogisticsGroup», the Department of Social Partnership of NAO «Holding Kasipkor» of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the forum, a competition between universities Battle of Business Ideas «Management of logistics infrastructure facilities in Kazakhstan and the implementation of «SupplyChainManagement»will be organized. The aim of the competition was to identify effective solutions for the development of transport infrastructure and logistics in Kazakhstan. The presentations were evaluated on a 10-point scale according to the following criteria: marketing decision, strategic planning, novelty, quality of presentation, oratory of the speakers and practicality of the project. The following working groups presented their projects on infrastructure facilities of the transport and logistics industry: International Academy of Business (Supplychainmanagementindustrial Enterprises of Coca-Cola), KBTU (Development of the port of Aktau), KazATK. Tynyshpaeva (Development of the FEZ «Khorgos», container trains «New Silk Road»), the Academy of Civil Aviation (Prospects for the development of a regional air hub based on the airports of Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau) and the Kazakh-German University (Prospects for the development of international road transport on the route Western Europe — Western China).

During the plenary session » Problems of the personnel system. Dialogue between employers and educational institutions » participants will discuss the balance of supply and demand of personnel, certification of specialists in the transport and logistics industry, training of administrative personnel, prospects for the development of large transport and logistics projects and the problem of their staffing.

Throughout the event, there will be a job fair-an exhibition of companies in the transport sector. JSC «NC «KTZ», JSC «Kedentransservice», JSC» Kaztransservice», Globalink Company, FEZ» Khorgos — Eastern Gate», JSC» Air-Astana», DB JSC» Sberbank», LLP» Istcomtrans «presented their stands.

After summing up the results of the competition, a master class will be held from potential employers of the transport and logistics industry for young transport workers. It will focus on the skills that will further contribute to the fruitful and successful work of young professionals. General Director of «GlobalinkLogisticGroup» LLP Siddiq Khan conducted a training for young specialists.

The forum will also include a training seminar from representatives of Headhunterkazakhstan: «Modern technologies of job search and career building in Kazakhstan» and the School of Political Management of the Nur Otan Party: «Development of leadership skills».
