”Kedentransservice” JSC will automate logistic and forwarding services
JSC «Kedentransservice» automates the provision of logistics and forwarding services. The contract with the Russian company Lester for the implementation of the information system was signed within the framework of the International Exhibition and Conference on Transport and Logistics «TransRussia».
Under the terms of the contract, Lester will adapt the software to the business of «Kedentransservice», which will allow the client to track the progress of the order online, as well as their own personal account.
According to the Vice-president of JSC «Kedentransservice» Yuri Sukmanov, the developers of this system «have proven themselves well by working with the Russian shareholder of the company». A similar program is already used in the work of JSC «TransContainer».
The implementation of the software, which will unite the main shareholders and 17 terminals of «Kedentransservice» in one network, can be considered a single information space for transport and logistics services in Kazakhstan and Russia. The new system will allow you to take into account calculations, form the rate of forwarding services, manage the fleet, track the cost and technology of repair of rolling stock
Automation of the service will also allow you to quickly manage the company’s fleet of fitting platforms, which will be increased to 1 thousand units by July 2012.
To date, the management of «Kedentransservice» is 325 cars. In addition, the company has its own locomotive fleet, which includes more than 30 diesel locomotives.
