History of formation and development of"Kedentransservice JSC".

History of establishment
In compliance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 11, 1997 No. 1750 "On Establishment of the Republican State Enterprise "Kedentransservice", the RSE "Kedentransservice" was established on the right of economic management for the implementation of customs support of goods and vehicles. The Customs Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan was determined by the state administration body of RSE "Kedentransservice", as well as the body that performs functions of the subject of state ownership in relation to it.
In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 2461 dated May 26, 1999 "On the transfer of property of the RSE "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" in the RSE "Kedentransservice", the RSE "Kedentransservice" transferred cargo yards in the amount of - 21 units.
In connection with the reorganization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan pursuant to Decree No. 4114 of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 1998, the Customs Committee was transferred to the newly established Ministry of State Revenues of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 31,1998 No 1374 "On Amendments and Additions to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 11, 1997 No 1750", the Ministry of State Revenues of the Republic of Kazakhstan was determined as the authorized body of RSE "Kedentransservice".
Under Resolution No. 864 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 26 , 1999 "On the Transformation of the Republican State Enterprise "Kedentransservice"", the RSE "Kedentransservice" was reorganised into "Kedentransservice" CJSC .
Taking into account the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 13 , 2003 415 "On Joint Stock Companies", "Kedentransservice" CJSC was re-registered as "Kedentransservice" JSC on 15 June 2004.

History of development
In March 2011, an important event in the history of "Kedentransservice" JSC occurred - in accordance with the Agreement between JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" and PJSC "TransContainer" on cooperation on the basis of joint venture No. 80-AO dated March 17, 2011 (hereinafter - Agreement), PJSC "TransContainer", the leading container operator of Russian Railways, became the shareholder of 67% of the shares of "Kedentransservice" JSC , while JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" retained the remaining 33% of shares. On December 23, 2013, as part of the Agreement between PJSC "TransContainer" and JSC "National Company" KazakhstanTemir Zholy", the acquisition of a 17% stake in JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" was completed.
Based on the results of 2015, 1.8 million tons of cargo in wagons and 150 thousand TEU in containers coming from China were transshipped at Dostyk and Altynkol stations. In 2015, the total annual volume of the China-Europe route amounted to 648 trains.
On October 28, 2016, Logistic System Management B.V. became the sole shareholder of "Kedentransservice" JSC . The composition of shareholders of "Logistic System Management B.V". was as follows:
- PJSC "TransContainer" - 50%;
- JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" - 50%.
In 2017, the organisational structure of the branch network was reorganised. The tasks of reorganization of the organizational structure of the branch network were aimed at improving customer focus, and as a result, improving the quality of services provided to customers, decentralizing certain functions and forming a system of tariff discounts.

On consolidation of JSC NC "KTZH" 100% shares of JSC "Kedentransservice" JSC
In 2018, arrangements were made to buy back 50% of the shares of Logistic System Management B.V. previously owned by PJSC "TransContainer".
PJSC "TransContainer" and JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" concluded an agreement on the purchase and sale of 50% of the share capital of Logistic System Management B.V. on 26 November 2019.
On 22 May 2020, re-registration of shares of Logistic System Management B.V. was carried out, as a result of which JSC "National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" became the sole shareholder of "Kedentransservice" JSC.
Today "Kedentransservice" JSC is the leading operator of logistic terminals in the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is presented in the market of transport and logistic services. The company has assets and competence in the field of terminal cargo handling, as well as provides services for transshipment of cargo imported from China at the "Dostyk" and "Altynkol" border stations.
"Kedentransservice" JSC has an extensive geographical network, including 3 representative offices in Urumqi (PRC), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Minsk (Republic of Belarus), 11 branches and 1 subsidiary company of Transport Holding of Kazakhstan LLP.
